Abstract

The Indian family system is the foundation of excellent human values. Since ancient times, this system has remained strong and well established. In Indian culture, the foundation of personality development is laid within the family, where value-oriented individuals are shaped for society and the nation. The ancient maxim “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”, which expresses the sentiment of considering the entire world as one family, is a gift of our rich cultural heritage. Shri Sethia too imbibed practical and elevated ideals from his family.

Abstract in Hindi Language:  भारतीय परिवार व्यवस्था उत्कृष्ट मानवीय मूल्यों की संस्थापक है। प्राचीन काल से ही यह व्यवस्था सुदृढ रही है। भारतीय संस्कृति में परिवार में ही व्यक्तित्व निर्माण की आधारशिला रखी जाती है। जहां परिवार, समाज व राष्ट्र के लिए मूल्यनिष्ठ व्यक्तित्व का सृजन होता है। सम्पूर्ण विश्व को अपना परिवार मानने के भावो को व्योजित करने वाला आर्ष वाक्य ’वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम’ हमारी उच्च संस्कृति की देन है। श्री सेठिया जी ने भी अपने परिवार से ही व्यवहारगत उच्च आदर्श प्राप्त किये थे।
