Abstract

In the current strategic and strategic scenario, the Indo-Russian relations have been largely affected by the Ukraine war. In this context, India has tried its best to protect its national interests by introducing a balanced foreign policy. India followed the policy of neutrality during the Russo-Ukraine war. Due to this policy of India, western countries including America accused India of tilting towards Russia. The US and Western countries took part in voting against Russia in the United Nations. America considered Russia an aggressor. There was pressure from America and western countries that India should also come along with America and western countries. However, bypassing this pressure, India has strengthened its strategic and economic ties with Russia.

वर्तमान रणनीतिक एवं सामरिक परिदृश्य में भारत-रूस संबंधों को यूक्रेन युद्ध ने व्यापक स्तर पर प्रभावित किया हैं। इस संदर्भ में भारत ने संतुलित विदेश नीति का परिचय देते हुए अपने राष्ट्रीय हितों केा संरक्षित करने का भरपूर प्रयास किया हैं। रूस यूक्रेन जंग के दौरान भारत ने तटस्थता की नीति का अनुसरण किया है। भारत की इस नीति का अमेरिका समेत पश्चिमी देशों ने भारत पर रूस की ओर झुकाव का आरोप लगाया। अमेरिका और पश्चिमी देशों ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र में रूस के खिलाफ मतदान में हिस्सा लिया। अमेरिका ने रूस को आक्रमणकारी माना। अमेरिका और पश्चिमी देशों का दबाव रहा कि भारत भी अमेरिका व पश्चिम देशों के साथ आए। हालांकि, भारत ने इस दबाव को दरकिनार करते हुए रूस के साथ अपने सामरिक और आर्थिक रिश्तों को मजबूत किया हैं।
