Study of Academic Achievements of Scheduled Castes Students in Geedam Dantewada: With Special Reference to NMDC CSR Project

Abstract

Education is an integral part of human development, but this path of development is not equally available to all the countrymen. Education is still not easily available, especially in rural areas. Geedam is an important area of ​​Dantewada where most of the people belong to Scheduled Castes and Tribes. Education city has been constructed in this district by the CSR project of the state government and NMDC. Presented research is done in Geedam of Dantewada to find out the level of education of the students, to find out the problems faced by the students in earning education and NMDC's C.S. R. The project has been done to find out the work being done in the field of education.

शिक्षा मानव विकास का एक अभिन्न अंग है, किन्तु विकास की यह राह सभी देशवासियों को समान रूप से उपलब्ध नहीं है। विशेषकर ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में शिक्षा आज भी आसानी से उपलब्ध नहीं है। गीदम दंतेवाड़ा का एक महत्वपूर्ण क्षेत्र है जहाॅ अधिकांश लोग अनुसूचित जाति एवं जनजाति के है। राज्य शासन एवं एनएमडीसी की सीएसआर परियोजना के द्वारा इस जिले में एजुकेशन सिटी का निर्माण किया गया है। प्रस्तुत शोध दंतेवाड़ा के गीदम में छात्र-छात्राओं के शिक्षा के स्तर का पता लगाने,  छात्र-छात्राओं को शिक्षा अर्जित करने में आने वाली परेशानियों का पता लगाने एवं एनएमडीसी की सी. एस. आर. परियोजना में शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में किये जा रहे कार्यो का पता लगाना के लिए किया गया है।
